Before we speak, here are a couple of things for you to think about ahead of our call:

  • Do you have branding in place?

  • If not, do you have anything in mind for this?

  • Do you have images of your bakes?

  • When would you like to go live with the website?

  • How will you/do you take orders in your bakery?

  • Which of the templates below best aligns with your bakery style? Don’t worry if they don’t! I’ll be customising your website completely to suit your bakery and we can chat about this on the call.

How it works

 

Step 1

Discovery

Schedule a no-obligation discovery call so we can chat about your bakery how the website in a week process works and if you’re ready to go ahead, pick your design week. Once you’re happy to proceed, you’ll pay a 50% deposit to confirm your build week.

Step 2

Homework

I will send your Prep Pack which includes:

  • A thorough brand and style questionnaire so I can get to know your bakery inside and out.

  • The copy document, where you can write the text for your website. This is laid out in a step-by-step format to guide you through the process. This means you won’t be starting from scratch, I’ll walk you through the text you need.

  • A place for you to upload any existing branding and the images required for your website.

You will share all of this information with me at least 5 days before your build week.

Step 3

Build Week

During your build week, I will use all of the info you have provided to pull together a style guide for your template restyle and a draft homepage for you to review and comment on.

Note, the overall homepage design will be based on the template selected, however, I will make adjustments as appropriate based on your bakery and brand.

Step 4

Review

Once I have your feedback I will implement the branding, copy and images throughout the template. When this is complete I will send you the full site for a final review on Day 4.

Step 5

Launch!

When you are happy with everything we’ll do the techy bits of connecting your domain and setting up your Squarespace account, you’ll make your final 50% payment then finally, you can launch your site and share it with the world!
